At the beginning of April, JUDAS PRIESTThe European tour, which was due to start at the end of May, has been postponed again due to “ongoing COVID-19 vaccine issues.” The trek will now run from May 27, 2022 in Moscow, Russia, to July 31, 2022 in Oberhausen, Germany.

Last November, Halford addressed the COVID-19 crisis in an interview with iHeart Radio. He said: “We’re going to have to learn to live with this thing. It’s like the flu. And this vaccine is just a tool on the road to recovery. But the facts are, believe the scientists, because “They’re the experts. That’s what they do. They’re committed to making people’s lives better. And the prognosis is that everything should be secure enough that we can all start dating again.”

“Whoever made that choice or that decision [to push back the PRIEST tour], I think they made the right choice, because I think it’s going to be very difficult for the bands to try to release on January 1, 2021, “he continued.” I think that by then summer, everything will be settled, and I hope the vaccine will have been given to hundreds of millions of people. I think we’ll still have to follow a protocol, which is a small price to pay – get the temperature taken and maybe wear a mask. It does not matter. We will come back together. “

Last September, JUDAS PRIEST and Rufus publications announced the release of the very first JUDAS PRIEST book documenting the long history of the group over the past 50 years. Title “Judas Priest – 50 years of heavy metal”, the book was produced by David Argent, Ross halfin and Jayne andrews.
