Former OneLogin VP becomes Strata Chief Revenue Officer

Identity and access management specialist Strata has appointed a former OneLogin executive as the new chief revenue officer.


Drew Prante joins the company after a three-year term as Vice President of Sales and General Manager of OneLogin for North America. There, he oversaw the sales and growth efforts for the North American market and was instrumental in shaping the company’s marketing strategy. He arrives at Strata as his former employer is bought out by One Identity in one of the latest notable M&A events in the identity and security industry.

Prior to his role at OneLogin, Prante was Vice President of Sales at IBM, after being Vice President of North America Sales for Silverpop, a marketing automation specialist acquired by the IT giant. in 2014. He was also sales director for the virtual meeting specialist PGi. from 2010 to 2013, after starting his career at CareerBuilder, the operator of a recruitment platform.

Strata, meanwhile, aims to make a name for itself as a provider of multi-cloud identity and access management. The company’s goal is to streamline IAM for customers across their entire IT environment, covering on-premises infrastructure and all cloud services that can be used, such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure AD.

The Strata co-founders bring some expertise to this project. One of the co-founders, Eric Olden, was a co-author of the SAML open standard for interoperable authentication; another, Eric Leach, has been involved in identity management solutions developed by Salesforce and Oracle, and Topher Marie, the company’s third co-founder, brings the experience of Ping and Auth0.

From now on, Prante will join the team with a mandate to evolve the Strata sales team and help the company meet the demand for Maverics, its IAM platform.
