Closed on October 3: Our Marketing & Engagement team is looking to appoint a Digital Media Coordinator to assist in the development and delivery of digital marketing and engagement content, automation, and social media strategies and campaigns.

The role is the central coordinator of our multiple social media communities. The Digital Media Coordinator enables effective promotion of programs, projects and organizational communications in a consistent and brand-focused manner to enhance public engagement at the Trust’s three Botanic Gardens, the Domain and the Australian Institute of Botanical Science.

Main responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and delivery of digital marketing and engagement content, automation and social media strategies and campaigns that enable the effective promotion of programs, projects and organizational communications in a consistent manner and brand-focused to improve public engagement in the Trust’s three botanical areas. gardens, the Estate and the Australian Institute of Botanical Sciences.

• Participate in the development and implementation of marketing and engagement strategies and programs to ensure the effective integration of digital business across online, mobile and social media platforms.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of email marketing and marketing automation strategies and programs to achieve specific business objectives for Marketing and Communications.

• Coordinate marketing and engagement content for all of the Trust’s websites and other digital platforms, ensuring content optimization across multiple digital channels including online, mobile and social media.

• Help provide advice to business units and partner entities on the application of digital engagement, email marketing and social media to achieve specific business and program goals and support the successful management of online platforms and digital files of the Trust.

• Undertake detailed analysis and reporting on digital engagement performance across online, mobile and social media channels using a variety of analytical tools to determine the effectiveness of digital engagement activities and recommend improvements .

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and explore collaborative digital marketing opportunities and other digital partnerships to promote the products, services and programs of the Trust and partner entities.
