B2B information, analytics and e-commerce optimization specialist Ascential (formerly EMAP) has acquired digital shelf optimization company OneSpace. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Led by founder Stephanie Leffler (pictured), St. Louis-based OneSpace provides a suite of tools and services to help CPG brands manage product-specific content catalogs and create original material and content personalized. The company’s keyword research process was designed to eliminate keyword cannibalization in a client’s portfolio and create a roadmap for content optimization for all products; while its data-driven approach to product content development aims to ensure listings are always optimized for maximum search visibility and conversion.
Ascential CEO Duncan Painter comments, âOneSpace’s expertise in content management, optimization and content delivery complements the industry-leading execution capabilities we already have in digital commerce. In particular, its content optimization product set provides clear cross-selling opportunities for our Edge and Flywheel businesses, while the global reach of our digital commerce business as a whole provides a path to further accelerate OneSpace’s growth. “.
